Written for my mother, inspired by her disco stories and my frustration with clubs where nobody dances. Not just party — but movement with attitude.

Story

From Benjamin Gedeon to COSMÓ.

Budapest

Born 2006 in Budapest. Hungarian mother, German father. Moved to Austria at age 2. "COSMÓ" stands for cosmopolitan — open to the world. The accent on the Ó is a remnant of my Hungarian name Benjámin.

Halbturn

Raised in Burgenland. Early music education, piano, and electric guitar at the Neusiedl am See music school. Reached the 2022 live final of The Voice Kids with coach Álvaro Soler — all four coaches turned around.

Vienna

Based in Vienna since June 2025. With TANZSCHEIN, COSMÓ won the ORF national selection “Vienna Calling” and represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Following the EP LIEBER TANZ ICH WEITER and the piano ballad RUNTERSPÜLEN, his debut album LIEBER TRÄUM ICH WEITER arrives on 25 September — followed by a tour through Germany and Austria with his band.
